Install your tracker inside the bicycle handlebar as shown in the manual for your model. G1 and G2 have different mounting orientations.
Choose the correct guide
- G1: mount with the direction arrows pointing upward.
- G2: mount with the two screw holes perpendicular to the ground, as illustrated in its manual.
Use the G1 and G2 installation guide and official manuals to check handlebar fit, adapters, and tightening torque.
Keep the antenna area clear
Do not cover the antenna area with metal. Check the intended antenna position in your model's manual before fitting a bar-end or other accessory.
After installation, check the latest positions in the BikeFinder app. An old position is not confirmation that the current installation is receiving a fresh signal.
Other mounting locations
The manuals specify handlebar installation. Do not assume that a different location is suitable because it hides the tracker or produces one position.
If the tracker does not fit your handlebar, contact support with your model and the handlebar's internal diameter before installing it elsewhere.
If you have insurance, also check the current policy's installation requirements.
