4. Understand how your tracker works

Once your tracker is installed and its subscription is active, check its latest positions and choose a mode in the BikeFinder app.

Choose your mode

Select your tracker and open Modes. Use the options and descriptions shown for your model, then check the selected mode in the app.

See tracker modes for the purposes of Tracking, Security, Standard, and Passive where available.

Read the latest updates

Check position timestamps in History. An earlier position does not tell you where the bike is now.

Read GPS, mobile-network, and Bluetooth signals to understand the connections. If updates are missing, use the troubleshooting guide.

Set up alerts and charging

Check phone notification settings and follow the charging guide for G1 or G2.
