Bluetooth actions connect your phone directly to a nearby tracker. Available actions depend on the tracker model and app version.
Open the available actions
- Turn on your phone's Bluetooth and allow the BikeFinder app's Bluetooth permissions.
- Keep the phone close to your tracker.
- Open the BikeFinder app, select the tracker, and open its Bluetooth options.
Follow the instructions shown for the action you select. If an update is offered, see the firmware update guide.
Check the model before powering off or restarting
A power-off or restart procedure for G1 should not be assumed to apply to G2. Read the manual for your model or ask support if the app does not explain how to turn it back on.
After a restart or other setting change, check the tracker in the app and its latest update time before relying on it for tracking.
If the tracker is not found
Check its charge, your phone's Bluetooth permissions, and that the phone is nearby. For G2, the manual advises moving or gently shaking the tracker if it does not appear.
If you still need help, contact support with the model, IMEI, and what the Bluetooth menu shows.
