G1: charge before pairing
Use the supplied G1 USB-C cable with a 5 V USB power supply rated at 0.5–2 A. Charge between 0°C and 45°C.
When first powered, G1 can take 2–15 minutes before it is ready to connect to the app. This is a pairing-readiness estimate, not a full-charge duration. Follow the G1 manual for charging and installation.
G2: connect the battery and charge
- Connect the battery module to the tracker until it clicks into place. The modules must be connected for operation and for the charging procedure described below.
- Use the supplied G2 charging cable with a 5 V USB power supply rated at least 0.5 A.
- Align the cable’s tactile marker with the BikeFinder logo, as shown in the manual.
- Charge for at least two hours, regardless of the indicated battery level. Charge between 0°C and 45°C.
Use the app to check G2 charging and operational status. Its lights are not intended to indicate those states. Follow the G2 manual for the illustrated steps.
Add your tracker to the app
- Keep your phone close to the tracker, with Bluetooth enabled and internet access available.
- Tap the + symbol in the app and choose your tracker from the nearby devices.
- If G2 does not appear, move or gently shake the tracker, as described in its manual.
- Check that the subscription bought with your account email is linked to the tracker.
Next, install your tracker and check its positions.
